Javier J. Cruz is the President of Y & T Plumbing, a family owned business established in 1976.  Just like many of the Cuban Americans, Javier Cruz followed his father to South Florida in search of freedom and better opportunities. As a young boy growing up in his adopted new country, Javier quickly learned that success will only come from hard work and relentless stamina. With that commitment instilled by the Cruz family up-bringing, Javier in the past nineteen (19) years, together with his father and sister, built a strong, reputable and solid company. His success story exemplifies how members of the Latin Builders Association capitalized on the opportunities available here in South Florida. 

Y&T Plumbing, through the leadership of Javier Cruz, played an intricate role in the many achievements and successful completion of various well known projects in the South Florida area. Javier Cruz and Y&T Plumbing  is  experienced in various aspects of construction including mid to high rise, multi family unit, hotels s as well as other commercial buildings. The hard work and expertise brought him and Y & T the highest achievements and acknowledgements in the construction industry.

In addition to his contracting business, Javier Cruz is an active investor in South Florida real estate. As an investor, he has an acute sense of timing and has been able to capitalize on the peaks and valleys of the real estate cycle. Together with a few of his joint venture partners, Javier has invested profitably in many commercial income properties, raw land and residential properties as well.

Born on November 2, 1967, he attended Southwest Senior High School and Miami Dade College. Married and they have two beautiful daughters. He enjoys fishing and boating.

Javier J. Cruz is also a generous supporter of the American Cancer Society, Jackson Memorial Golden Angel Society, Kristi House, Radio Peace and other local charities.
