Javier obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida with a major in finance and a double minor in Spanish and economics. While at Harvard Law School, he served as the Executive Editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review.

- Represented Mellon United National Bank in connection with an $80 million construction loan for a condominium project in downtown Miami, Florida.
- Represented an affiliate of American Land Ventures in the $100 million sale of a high-rise apartment building in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
- Represented an affiliate of Fortune International in connection with a $130 million construction loan for ArTech Residences at Aventura, a project being developed by Fortune International and a joint venture partner.
- Represented Mellon United National Bank with respect to two sister acquisition loans totaling $88.7 million secured by mortgages on two apartment complexes.
- Represented the purchaser of three office buildings in the area of Orlando, Florida for $36 million.
