Previously, Humberto was the WW Migrations Director, responsible for the Pre Sales Migration Services program from the Systems & Technology Group. The Sales Executive of World Wide Segment Sales for the iSeries brand, responsible for implementing the go to market strategy of the brand in the Small & Medium Business (SMB). He was the Emerging & Competitive Business Unit Executive for Latin America with responsibility for business development and sales in the region. Prior to this role, he was Sales Executive for Storage Networking and Storage Systems responsible for sales and customer satisfaction of the Latin America and SSA regions. Humberto was Territory, Systems Sales and Operations manager in Puerto Rico, were he was responsible for sales and marketing of IBM solutions and products. Humberto has worked extensively with government and communications sector customers. During his 25-year IBM career, he has held several technical, marketing, and management positions. Humberto has served as member of many organizations, including Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, Puerto Rico United Way and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Technical Career. He attended the IBM Executive Program at Harvard Business School. Humberto was born in Habana, Cuba and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He holds a Computer Science degree from the Boston University and a Masters in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Puerto Rico. He was part of the Teacher Assistant program teaching Assembly and Pascal Programming Languages at Boston University. Humberto is married and enjoys playing golf, basketball, jogging and Karate. He is fluent in English, Spanish and has knowledge of Portuguese. |
