With a strong foundation in underground construction and engineering, Gus Cabrera began his career at MasTec — the largest Hispanic-owned infrastructure contractor in the U.S. During his tenure as an executive, he joined the Latin Builders Association, where he has proudly maintained active membership for over 20 years.

Over the years, Gus became a key leader within the organization, serving on the Executive Board before being selected to lead as President. He most recently completed his term as LBA President (2022–2024), following his service as President-Elect.
