Rafael Cabrera is a venture capitalist and serial entrepreneur who has been driving economic growth and innovation across South Florida for over 15 years. A proud Miami native, Rafael earned his finance degree from Florida International University and has since built a diverse business portfolio spanning healthcare, construction, real estate, and a national ticket brokerage firm — with multiple franchise and ownership ventures throughout Miami-Dade County.

Deeply committed to giving back, Rafael has served on several civic and nonprofit boards, including the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority, City Year Miami’s Finance Committee, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He currently sits on the City of Miami Civil Service Board and the City of Hialeah Gardens Personnel Review Board.

Rafael now serves as President-Elect of the Latin Builders Association and is set to begin his term as President in October 2025.
